Our Family

Andrew is our 1 year old sweetheart.

He's finally attempting to say a few words. Up 'til now it's been wierd grunts and strange nasal sounds that only Mom could understand. I'm convinced it's by choice though, because he can understand everything! Andrew loves to watch people, and with those eyes it's almost like he's somehow extracting the very being that you are with his gaze. He's super sensitive to people and their emotions of any kind. The slightest gasp, and he's wrapped around my leg crying.

Andrew does have a fun side too. He loves to rough house, (but of course is so quick to give kisses or hugs if someone gets hurt.) "Butt bombs" and "front rolls" are some of his favorite activities, while sitting still to read a book is definately not!

Evan turned 4 in February.

He is such a happy-go-lucky kid. He loves just about everthing and everyone. And no matter where we go, Evan somehow makes a friend out of a stranger. He is sooooo active!! He just finished a gymnastics class, LOVES his wrestling class with coaches Daddy and Uncle Will, and can't wait for soccer to start! I keep looking for ways to use his energy, and he loves every minute of it.

Evan also has a very active mind. He's convinced that one day he WILL fly like Superman, and he's constantly challenging us with questions. For example, "Why is water wet? Why is Jupiter the biggest planet? Why do boats sink?" I do my best, but I find myself saying things like, "because that's how Heavenly Father made it," or "I have no idea Evan."
