Thanks to a curious four year old and library books, I'm learning all sorts of useless, but interesting trivia.

The latest: When a massive star explodes as a supernova, it either becomes a neutron star or a black whole. But get this..... apparently, one teaspoonful of the mass of a neutron star weighs about a BILLION tons! WHAT?!?! (The Visual Dictionary of the Universe, Dorling Kindersley) I'm no scientist, but that's pretty incredible!

Wow...what kind of library books are you getting for these kids? The most recent piece of information I was able to pick up from Amanda's most recent library selections was that Clifford the Big Red Dog can put out a fire with water he sucked up from a swimming pool. Fascinating!
